Community Open House

Last September, Avantus hosted the Sienna Solar Center Open House at the Lucerne Valley Moose Lodge.

Thank you to all the community members who joined us to learn more about the proposed project. Attendees had the opportunity to speak with Avantus experts about project details and community partnerships, learn about our track record, and more.

If you were unable to join and have questions about the project, please visit our website FAQs page or contact us here.

Community Partnerships

Avantus is committed to being a good neighbor by finding meaningful ways to contribute to local organizations in the Lucerne Valley community. This past holiday season, we supported several impactful initiatives, including:

  • Bike Donations for the Lucerne Valley Youth Project Christmas Toy Giveaway

  • The Children’s Fund Celebration of Giving in the High Desert Community

  • Lucerne Valley Roadrunners Christmas Toy Giveaway

  • Lucerne Valley Roadrunners Halloween Tailgate Trick-or-Treat

  • Lucerne Valley Lions Club Second Annual Haunted Mansion

As our project progresses, we look forward to continuing our partnerships with local organizations and supporting their important work in the Lucerne Valley. Learn more about our community involvement here.

Please see the aerial site map for a better sense of the project’s location.

The Sienna Solar Center’s project footprint has been thoughtfully designed to minimize the visibility of the project from local residents and Highway 247. The original project site has been moved from its former location on the dry lakebed to its current location based on feedback from County and local stakeholders.
